Robotics Control and Decision Systems Laboratory

​WELCOME

The Robotics Control and Decision Systems (RCDS) Laboratory researches and develops systems that sense, perceive and act autonomously. The lab is part of the Mechanical Engineering and Material Science and Engineering Department of the Cyprus University of Technology. It was established and directed since 2011 by Dr. Savvas G. Loizou.
The lab has facilities and experience in autonomous robotic systems, including aerial, mobile, underground and underwater  robotics.

• Oct 7, 2020: Kick-off of our new H2020 project "Better Factory - Grow your manufacturing business" 
• Jul 16, 2020: Paper "Robot navigation on star worlds using a single-step Navigation Transformation" by  Nicolas Constantinou and  Savvas Loizou accepted for publication to IEEE CDC 2020
• Feb 31, 2020:  Successful  demonstration  of  the  THEASIS System at Pano Platres for the SFEDA Interreg Balkan-Med project
